To promote specialty cluster construction, enhance program quality, and promote high quality education, on the morning of January 25, Professor Chen Changhui from Fujian Chuanzheng Communications College to give a lecture entitled practice and thoughts on enhancing quality of specialty clusters in vocational education. President Ren Jianhong, Vice President Zhang Qiuping, Hwa Nan department and program heads, and program academic leaders attended the lecture.

Professor Chen Changhui is the President of General Aviation Industry College from Fujian Chuanzheng Communications College.  He has rich experience and practice in the development of specialty clusters.  Starting from the evaluation criteria for specialty clusters and taking examples of practice and effects of specialty clusters’ development in Fujian Chuanzheng Communications College, Professor Chen shared his views on faculty team building, high level practice facility development, industry-education integration, and key breakthrough.  He provided precious experience and constructive opinions for Hwa Nan’s specialty cluster construction, which is insightful and targeted. 

After the lecture, Professor Chen responded to questions raised by department and program heads on specialty cluster development goals and quality enhancement.  He gave precious opinions on Hwa Nan’s specialty cluster construction and elaborated on specialty cluster building based upon the market demand and academic advantages, and specialty cluster building with leading programs supported by relevant programs to enhance talent training quality and serve the industry.
