On the afternoon of July 2, the opening ceremony was held for the practicing base of innovation and entrepreneurship at Hwa Nan.  Council Chair Su Mengna, Party Secretary Li Tingwang, President Ren Jianhong, Vice President Zhang Qiuping, relevant office directors, guests from business, entrepreneurial mentors, and student entrepreneurial teams attended the ceremony.

Vice President Zhang Qiuping in her address said the objectives of the practicing base are to combine competitive resources and preferential policies, to incubate innovative and competitive start up business, to build a practical training base and to develop a distinctive brand for innovation and entrepreneurship.  Student Yu Xuehuan and guests from business also gave speeches.

Administrators presented appointment letters to the entrepreneurial mentors, and awarded certificates to the winners of Hwa Nan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

In the future, the practicing base will host innovation and entrepreneurship trainings and competition and provide services for incubating students’ innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
