On December 23, the third college history speech contest was held in the college auditorium. The contest was organized by Student Affairs Office, Youth League Committee and Department of Tourism Services. The contest was attended by Council Chair Su Mengna, Vice President Zhang Qiuping, Party Deputy Secretary Wu Lanjia, all faculty and staff and another four hundred students.
After preliminary contests, ten candidates were chosen to enter the final, which includes speech and Q&A sessions. Ten speakers enthusiastically spoke about 112 years’glorious history of Hwa Nan and its contributions to women’s education in China with honest emotions.
Wu Siyu from 2020 Food Nutrition and Inspection won the first prize. Two second prizes were awarded to Yu Jianping from 2019 Preschool Education and Du Yuhua from 2019 Tourism Management. The winners of the third prize are Chen Ruolin from 2020 Business English, Yang Hongyan from 2020 Cabin Crew Training, and Shen Bijia from 2020 Art Design. The Recognition Awards went to Su Renjie from 2019 Mobile Business, Chen Xing from 2019 Preschool Education, Deng Jiayue from 2020 Aged Care and Management, Zheng Jiying from 2019 Interior Design. Yu Erbiao from Department of Health Services received the Excellent Guidance Award.
