On the morning of April 13, Secretary Wang Qiumei together with Chen Yiping, member of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Fujian China Vocational Education Association made an inspection visit to Hwa Nan, accompanied by Council Chair Su Mengna and Vice President Huang Jie.

Council Chair Su Mengna briefly introduced them the history of Hwa Nan and recalled the care and support from then Fujian Provincial Party Committee Secretary Xiang Nan and then Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee Secretary Xi Jinping in its early establishment.  

Wang Qiumei and her entourage visited Hwa Nan history exhibition room and saw the pictures of Xi Jinping’s inspection visit to the college and his inscription of “Women are not inferior to men.  Hwa Nan women of distinction appear one after another.”  Wang Qiumei said the precious archives recorded General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping’s forward looking and ground breaking innovative ideas and fully displayed Xi’s leadership style and his foresight.  She wishes Hwa Nan treasure the precious gift, learn the instructions from the inscription and continue reform and renovation to ensure continued success.    

Wang Qiumei also gave guidance to college administrators on epidemic control and prevention, school opening preparations, and campus safety hazard check and rectification.
