On the afternoon of Nov. 21, Hwa Nan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Meeting for 2019-2020 academic year was held in No. 1 meeting room.  The meeting was attended by Council Director and Acting President Su Mengna, Vice President Huang Jie and directors from Admission and Career Office, Dean’s Office, and Youth League Committee, Department Chairs, Program Directors, Department Party Branch Secretaries, and all student counselors.

Director Huang Leijing chaired the meeting and made a review of Hwa Nan’s work on Innovation and Entrepreneurship between 2017 and 2019.  Zhang Min from Department of Health Services shared her experience of participating the 4th Innovation and Entrepreneurship competition for university woman students in Fujian.  Zheng Lin from Department of Tourism Services reported the innovation and entrepreneurship work of Star Executive Team from MICE Planning and Management .  Chen Honghua from Department of International Business & Management reported on the dpartment’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship competition and the platform built by its Shang Chuang Company.  Zhang Fang from Department of Health Services made an introduction of integration of the innovation and entrepreneurship competitions into the course instruction.  Feng Jinying from Dean’s Office briefed on the faculty training in the subject of innovation and entrepreneurship between 2017 and 2019.  Zhang Wenxiu from Innovation and Entrepreneurship College gave constructive thoughts and opinions in view of college’s current participation in the competitions. 

Vice President Huang Jie expounded on innovation and entrepreneurship policies for higher education institutions and detailed the plan for Hwa Nan’s innovation and entrepreneurship work for 2019-2020.

Council Chair and Acting President Su Mengna summed up the meeting and she required various units to work closely together to form teams cross departments and programs for collectively promoting the organization work for competitions and making breakthroughs in Hwa Nan’s innovation and entrepreneurship education.
