On Oct. 23, the second college history speech contest was held in the auditorium.  The contest was organized by Student Affairs Office, Youth League Committee and Department of Tourism Services.  The contest was attended by Council Chair and Acting President Su Mengna, Party Secretary Wang Haiyan, Vice President Huang Jie, Party Deputy Secretary Ren Jianhong, faculty and staff and another four hundred students.

After preliminary contests, ten candidates were chosen to enter the final, which includes speech and Q&A sessions.  Huang Yidan from Preschool Education Class 2019 won the first prize.  Two second prizes were awarded to Zhang Shangqi from Food Nutrition and Inspection Class 2017, and Gao Yanni from Preschool Education Class 2018.  The winners of the third prize are Lan Limei from Tourism Management Class 2017, Lin Jingtong from Food Nutrition and Hygiene Class 2017, and Xie Yuyan from Public Affairs Management Class 2018.  The Recognition Awards went to Ni Xiaomei from Art Design Class 2019, Yan Qiulin from Art Design Class 2019, Ke Yimei from Cabin Crew Training Class 2019 and Wang Junyan from Business English Class 2019.  Wu Lingling from Department of Education received the Excellent Teacher Award.
