In recent years, Hwa Nan has fully implemented the CPC Central and Provincial Committee’s policies of promoting Cultural and Ethical Progress.   Revolving around the main task of the college and the larger picture of reform, development and stability, the college has fully promoted Cultural and Ethical Progress, and tightly combined the construction of civilized campus with fundamental task of fostering virtues through education, aiming to provide education that people are satisfied with.  Under the leadership of the college party committee, Hwa Nan has effectively enhanced the ideal and belief education, cultivated and observed core socialist values，advanced development of campus culture, provided good education environment, created unique cultural environment for women’s college, fostered good academic atmosphere for learning and teaching, boosted harmony and unity of the college, and pushed forward reform and development of the college.  Hwa Nan had been awarded the 11th (2009~2011) and the 12th (2012~2014) Civilized Campus consecutively. 

The honor of Provincial Civilized Campus is the result of joint efforts of all faculty and students and fruitful achievement of cultural and ethical progress of Hwa Nan.  We will take this opportunity making unrelenting efforts and acting initiatively to further develop a civilized campus and reach a new stage of cultural and ethical progress so as to bring out the full potential of the college.
