On the afternoon of June 20, 2018 graduation ceremony was held solemnly in the college auditorium. 1045 students have completed their studies and graduated.
Attending the ceremony are college administrators Su Mengna, Huang Jie, Chen Hui, Ren Jianhong, Zhen Youguo, old alumnae Ma Xiufa, He Xiaozhi, Wu Meiyu and foreign teacher representative Laihar. Office Director Zhang Qiuping was the master of the ceremony.
President Su Mengna expressed warmest congratulations to the graduating class and wished them all the best in the future. She hopes Class 2018 will remember the college motto of “Having Received, We Ought to give” and become persons with dream, responsibility, vision and faith who can give back to the society.
President Su announced the names of graduating students and awarded graduation certificates. Vice President Chen Hui, Deputy Secretary Ren Jianhong, Vice President Huang Jie and Vice President Zheng Youguo respectively read the honor rolls of provincial and municipal governments’ awards, excellent graduate award, President’s Commendation Award, National Scholarship, National Encouragement Scholarship and issued certificates to the recipients.
Graduating student representative Lin Xiaoqi gave a speech expressing deep blessings and reluctant farewell. Yang Yu gave a speech expressing sadness of parting and love for the college, the teachers and fellow students. He also spoke about celebrating the graduation and looking into the future.
Close to the end of the ceremony, Class of 2018 presented donation of a classroom in the name of “Yu En”to the college. President Su on behalf of Hwa Nan accepted the donation.
Highlighting the ceremony is an artistic performance organized and presented by College Youth League elaborately to express best wishes for all graduating students. The ceremony ended with the cheerful chatting and laughing .
