From June 2 to June 5, Dr.Shridhar Sathe, Dr.Qinchun Rao and Dr. Changqi Liu from Florida State University and San Diego State University paid a visit to Hwa Nan.

Since 1990s, Florida State University has started to help and support Hwa Nan, accepting nine young faculty members to study for Master and Ph. D degrees.  They have all become the core generation for college administration and teaching.  At this visit, three professors had cordial and in-depth conversations with FSU graduates, and reached cooperative agreement on faculty development, co-teaching and student studying abroad plans.

Dr. Shridhar Sathe gave a lecture of Effects of Food Processing on Food Allergens to faculty and students from Food Nutrition and Inspection , Food Nutrition and Hygiene majors.  He introduced his long time research on food protein allergy. Professor Ni Li from Fuzhou University, Associate Professor Guo Ze Bin from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University and a dozen graduate students attended the lecture and had academic exchange with Dr. Shridhar Sathe.
