Hwa Nan’s English corner has been held on a regular basis over twenty years. Foreign teachers Kay and Laihar are the organizers of the corner, preparing various topics and themes for each week.
English corner helps students improve English communication skills, trigger their thinking, and boost their courage and confidence.
On Friday Night, Nov. 3, English Corner was joined by students from Puget Sound University. Students from two schools played games, exchanged cultural views, and taught each other English and Chinese languages.
