Zheng Yuyan from Department of Education achieved top prize in the first English Vocabulary Contest of Fujian Province, held in Fujian Chuanzheng Communications College on Nov. 27th, 2016. Hundreds of students from universities and colleges participated to test their English vocabulary proficiency and accuracy. The thirty-minute test is given on computer in three parts: Chinese-English translation, English-Chinese translation and vocabulary dictation. Contestants are required to fill the words into the blanks or to choose the right words. Once finished, the score appeared automatically on the screen. Zheng Yuyuan outscored other contestants and claimed top prize.
