To know more about students’ life on campus and to listen to students’opinions and suggestions, College Students’ Affairs Office organized a face to face meeting for the president and student representatives on the afternoon of Nov.28. The meeting was joined by Party Secretary, Vice Party Secretary, College Consultant and relevant office directors.
At the meeting, student representatives presented their opinions and suggestions on campus facilities, faculty, campus management services, accommodations and environment, administrators listened carefully and made responses to questions students raised. President Su thanks students for their care and concern about college development, and made an introduction to students about the funds and resources allocated to the teaching facilities and dormitory buildings to upgrade learning and living conditions. To address issues related to sanitary conditions, facility damage repair and practice courses, President Su asked relevant office directors present to pay high attention to the issues and act immediately to resolve problems.
Two hour face to face conversation provides mechanism for student and administrator communication, which will become a norm in the future and play a positive role in college administration.
