Our dear friend Mr. Robert Trimble has left us on June 26th, 2014. It is a great loss to Trimble’s family as well as to us. Mr. Robert Trimble is a grand nephew of Lydia Trimble, the first President of Hwa Nan College established in 1908. Since 1983, Mr. Robert Trimble had frequently come to visit and teach in Hwa Nan with his son and daughter-in-law. He and his family foundation has already donated nearly 70,000USD to the college. He also made his contribution for establishing sister relationship between Tacoma and Fuzhou. Mr. Robert Trimble lives a full meaningful life. His spirit will forever enlighten us and we will always keep him and his deeds in mind.
